Valmet Provides Process Automation and Quality Control System for Jiangxi Taisheng Four Tissue Machines
Valmet supplied the Valmet DNA automation system and the Valmet IQ quality control system to the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th tissue machines of the Jiujiang Plant in Jiangxi Taisheng Paper. Advanced automation technology will further optimize the performance of these paper machines, and the quality of the products will be greatly improved. The order was included in Valmet's new orders for the first quarter of 2017.
Valmet's offerings include the Valmet DNA decentralized control system and the Valmet IQ Quality Control System (QCS) with scanning sensors. One of the highlights of the QCS quality control system is the Valmet IQ fiber measuring sensor, which measures both fiber weight and moisture content. It is especially suitable for replacing traditional nuclear quantitative measurement sensors. Currently, nearly 200 such sensors have been installed and used on paper machines.
