Voith Wins Little Rapids US Wisconsin Factory Tissue Machine Order_Enterprise Tracking
China Paper Network August 17th: Recently, US specialty paper manufacturer Little Rapids signed a contract with Voith Paper (Brazil) to order a new tissue machine. The new machine will be installed at the plant in Shoreau, Wisconsin, replacing the existing Unit 3.
The new paper machine has a speed of 1830 m/min and a daily production capacity of 119 metric tons. In addition to the Yankee cylinder for reuse, the remaining components are all new components based on the Voith VTM3 paper machine.
In addition to new paper machines and accessories, Voith's scope of supply includes: stock preparation systems, flow systems, steam boxes, dust removal and defogging systems, distributed control systems and on-site services.
The project is scheduled to start in the third quarter of this year, and the boot time is expected to be at the end of 2017.
